WSU Health and Wellness Services provides health care to students, including treatment for acute and chronic illness, injuries, accidents, women's health, contraception, STDs, eating disorders, pregnancy tests, allergy shots, immunizations, wart treatments, counseling, and information on health and preventive care. The staff of MDs, RNs, and nurse clinicians sees patients by appointment, with urgent care for emergencies available as well. WSU Student Health and Wellness Services is located in the Washington Building, 1125 NE Washington Street, which is located on the south end of campus across the street from the Stephenson Complex. A registered nurse is available by telephone 24-hours a day to provide accurate information and appropriate recommendations for students who call with questions. After hours, calls are directed to call a local number to speak with a nurse at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. This toll-free service is available to students anytime the clinic is closed.
